Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information EyeNSpect collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

We collect information in a few ways:

  • Information you give us. When you contact us, request an inspection, or use the customer portal, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and details about the property and service you are asking about.
  • Inspection records. For completed inspections, we keep the inspection agreement, report, photos, and related documents as required by our licensing and record- retention obligations.
  • Website usage. Like most websites, we may collect basic technical information such as browser type, pages visited, and approximate location, used to keep the site working and understand how it is used.

2. How we use information

We use your information to respond to inquiries, schedule and perform inspections, deliver reports through the customer portal or email, send service-related communications, process payments, and meet legal and insurance requirements. We do not sell your personal information.

3. Sharing

We share information only as needed to run our business: with service providers that host our portal, email, and payment systems (under agreements that require them to protect your data); with parties you direct us to share a report with, such as your real estate agent or lender; and where required by law or to protect our rights. We do not otherwise disclose personal information to third parties for their marketing.

4. Cookies and analytics

This website uses only the cookies and local storage needed for the site to function and, if enabled, simple analytics to understand overall traffic. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings; the site will continue to work, though some features may be limited.

5. Data retention

We keep inspection records for the period required by Texas Real Estate Commission rules and our insurance requirements. Contact form messages and other correspondence are kept only as long as needed to handle your request and for our reasonable business records.

6. Data security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards — including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls — to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your choices

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to the record-retention requirements described above. Email hello@eyenspect.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

8. Children's privacy

Our services are directed to adults involved in property transactions. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
